WAAAYY worse than I thought. I'm sick and tired of commentators (like Tony Dungy or Troy Aikman) saying crap like 'you have to play smart football', when they recommend giving up the ball voluntarily in situations like this. (Just an example, neither of them said this specifically on this decision.) This only co-signs the bullshit the coaches are delivering when they punt without thinking. I think Mike Smith is a great coach and he DOES know how to go for it on 4th down, but this time he screwed the pooch.

This is one reason I like watching GA Tech; they go for it all the time. It isn't like the rules of football say you only get three tries to make 10 yards; you GET FOUR!!

4th and 20... That's a good thing to keep in the back of one's head.
