I don't understand the XG numbers here

It was already obvious to me at least that the moves were first sorted by evaluation strength and then by equity. I agree - never alter the data. Just document what it means. You would be better off to display the equity as "rejected" than to show a wrong value.

What you may get are requests that if the 2-ply equity of a filtered play winds up higher than the 4-ply equity of the top play, that it should automatically be re-evaluated at 4-ply.
