It seems clear to make the 11 pt here, keeping a very flexible position at the price of 5 more shots. I note that 12 and 22 are very good numbers for white with or without the shot, so there is some duplication value. In addition, hitting with the direct 2 comes at the price of stripping the midpoint, compared to being able to escape a back checker with tempo on the indirects. If white cannot hit or make an anchor, he will be wanting to run a man into the outfield as he has a shortage of material on the other side of the board. The blot on the 14 point has additional value in thwarting this attempt.
