Paul, I have your 5 books. It is my intent to bring them with me. Growing up, my mother called me the Absent Minded Professor. I suspect I was too hasty when I stated that nothing could go wrong.

I booked a room at the Hyatt this year. I'd like to leave nothing to chance except for the backgammon. I am now concerned. The Hyatt has not yet expressed excitement about my stay. Perhaps I should call them.

As for my getting backgammoned twice in a row by Joe, we played on GridGammon last night for the first time since Vegas and Joe reached the following position in the first game and noted that he had a chance to win a third consecutive backgammon. He played 2/off(2) as that gives me the greatest chance to dance. However, he failed to remember my propensity to get backgammoned by rolling 23's. He should have played 1/off(2) 4/3(2) to hold the key 2 and 3 points. I proceeded to roll two consecutive 23's and saved the bg. NOBODY bg's Rich Munitz 3 times in a row.
