You don't specifically address the question pointedly enough. In general, if you were never charged with the crime more or less nothing should change in your life. This is theoretical and of course never what happens in real life. In real life if your neighbor is accused of being a pedophile regardless almost of who the accuser is, you will never get that out of the back of your mind if you have kids of your own. It depends on the crime in question what may really go on in your life. It also depends what you're looking to get back on track in your life.
