If you were accused by the New York Post (again, hypothetically), the correct answer is about 10 seconds. The National Enquirer has more credibility.

If they breathlessly reported (again, hypothetically) that according to a super-secret law enforcement source there would be an indictment within a week, and a year then passes with no indictment, you would think people would start to say "Hmm" at that juncture.
