If someone has a personal grievance, that person has a right to pursue it. If an organization has been attacked, it has a right to defend itself.

It would be my preference to take this discussion offline as well. It looks like things are going to escalate with the likely consequence that all parties will be hurt. I would suggest that a private dialogue may have better chances of a satisfactory resolution than continuing public statements. But, those involved need to make that decision for themselves.
