Actually I haven't bothered memorizing Neil's numbers. I almost never play matches against real people so I'm taking a pretty leisurely approach to match play, playing 7-pointers against GNU or XG and not worrying about the MET beyond 7 points. Eventually I'll work my way up.

As for the gammons, I would have grossly underestimated the number of gammons won by the trailer, because I figured the leader would typically enter pretty easily. But maybe part of what I missed is that if the leader anchors on the ace point then there's still significant gammon danger. Or maybe the leader doesn't anchor as often as I thought.
