E-Cigs Revisited

I agree with you that advertisements should be banned. It simply tells people, including children - here's another way to look like you're smoking and get/stay addicted to nicotine.
But again, in my opinion a backgammon tournament director's job is not to enforce healthy habits upon his players - it is to ensure that one player's actions does not harm the health or seriously impair the comfort of another. The harmful effects and discomfort arising from second hand smoke are clear and a ban is appropriate.
So my question is whether there are any measurable harmful chemicals in the visible vapor of e-cigs, or is the visible vapor simply harmless water vapor? I've had someone sitting across the board from me at a major tournament with a thermos filled with hot tea. He refilled his cup with steaming tea and the vapor was most clearly visible wafting into the air. And tea most definitely does have a mild aroma. Shall we ban tea?
I do think that e-cigs should be made a different color or something. Just as toy guns and real guns should always be obviously distinguishable, it should be instantly clear to all that these devices are not real cigarettes.
