Cube Decision

It's plenty interesting enough.
Quantifying the recube vig is rather tricky. I think JOH likes to compute the "fully live" takepoint and then interpolate between the fully-live and raw takepoints, using 70% as the interpolation point. MCG, in a GammonVillage article, has suggested computing the autorecube takepoint and a so-called "perfect recube" takepoint (where all your wins are with the cube on 4 and all your losses are with the cube on 2) and taking the halfway point between the two. I have previously advocated trying to estimate "effective gammons." It would be interesting to compare all these methods in your position.
