It is absolutely ludicrous to question Perry's ability as a player or teacher.

His tournament record, including two semi-final finishes in Monte Carlo and coming in 2nd in the ABT and many other wins and cashing in many tournaments leave no question of his ability. His peers consistently vote him as one of the best 64 on the Giants list (and I would be willing to bet he can post an average PR rating as good as many of the players in the top 32).

As for his teaching abilities, I have taken lessons and received coaching from many of the best players and teachers in the world including Nack, Kit, Oswald, Jake, Neil, O'Hagan, Stick, Wells, Sylvester, Myerburg, Meunch, and others, and Perry is as good or better than anyone. I personally have found him to be better than any teacher I have had, but I won’t go so far as to say he is the best as I have not taken lessons from everyone.
