I agree. I understand the concerns Phil expressed, but my impression from some of Rod's posts here is that he would be willing to retract some of his statements. If both parties want to make it work, they can make it work. If both parties could accept that some of the things they have said/done are not correct, so much the better. Given the very uncommon nature of the situation, there is no shame at all in admitting some decisions or statements made in public were too hasty.

Again, agree. My understanding is that in any homicide (BTW, has it already been concluded there was one??), close family members and especially spouses are prime suspects. We know little more than that, but we know that he has not been officially charged.
