There are only three legal 6's, and 21/15 can't be right so it's either 13/2* or 18/12 plus some 5. If we play 18/12 then I like 24/18 better than 13/8 for the 5 since it gets our back checker into play. So I'm choosing between 23/12 and 13/2*.

13/2* has the advantage of putting our opponent on the bar temporarily and minimizing shots. Otherwise it doesn't look so good. We're not in a position to follow up with a blitz; in fact it will be tough even to cover the blot on our 2pt. There are no other blots for us to pick up. So a likely outcome is that we'll gain a couple of tempi to move our checkers around, but then our 2pt blot will get hit and we'll lose any ground we gained in the race.

23/12 leaves a lot more shots but we get quite a few return shots in most cases. Black's 5's are duplicated for hitting and jumping out. Overall it leads to a more flexible position to my eyes. I'd play 23/12.
