A natural person is a person of flesh and blood, which is a subject of law with rights and duties. The opposite is a legal person, like Wendy's or McDonalds which can also be a subject of rights and duties. Also the USBGF is a legal person. By the way, the roman law knew person of flesh and blood, which were unable to be a subject of law and duties: the slaves. Therefore a slave was an object and could be traded.
