QF made me look at making the 3 point instead of 16/13 14/9 (which would be my OTB play). I suspect making the 3 can be right, making a strong board and 5 out of 6 blocking points. Black probably should hit twice outside to feel good about this position. If Black leaves a hittable blot on the few upcoming shakes, that (combined with the Black laggard) may be enough for White to cube. But hard to leave three hittable blots and a zillion shots, when a much safer alternative exists.
