If anyone on the forum have a Sandy Bridge, i am extremly intrested in the performance of XG.

The benchmark: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sandy-bridge-core-i7-2600k-core-i5-2500k,2833-14.html (The multimedia float x8 SSE2) and http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/the-sandy-bridge-review-intel-core-i7-2600k-i5-2500k-core-i3-2100-tested/17 (Cinebench R10) hint for the 2600K to be extremely fast (almost as fast as the hex core 980X)

I also like to get in touch with a Sandy Bridge owner to test the AVX implementation (for version 2). AVX should almost double the throughput of the NN which on V2 is now 50% of the CPU time, so it should yield a 30% improvement.

I am halfway though recoding the NN in AVX and so far can only test it on Intel emulator which is painfully slow and obviously cannot give me any idea of performance improvement.
