backgame cube

I agree that it is an easy take and a questionable cube. But, my tendency is to cube when it is a questionable cube. One advantage of aggressive cubing is the possibility that your opponent may incorrectly drop. Also, the gammons in this position are quite high, thus the cubing point is lower. This problem is a fine example of the complexities of cubing. It is a highly volatile play where either player could be at an advantage in a few moves.
This may or may not be a cube. But I would cube here. I like the high gammon percentage and the possibility that my opponent may drop.
