Diagrams

How did you create those diagrams, what program did you use?
It's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.
I use an old version of GNUBG to export a position into EPS (encapsulated postscript). The newer versions of GNUBG do not have this feature. Then I write the document using LaTeX, which is a typesetting language used primarily by mathematicians, but has favor in various scientific circles. LaTeX handles EPS files well, but other graphics formats poorly. I have MikTeX installed on my laptop, which is a LaTeX compiler. That does all the heavy lifting to create a PDF file.
I do not recommend this approach at all. It works for me because I have way way way too many years of experience with using LaTeX. I did it this way because no other board style looks good to me in a black & white document.
