It wasn't me. I only stole Steve Mellen's dice - and only 2 of them. We played on Steve's board with my dice tube and clock. When the match was over, I walked away with my clock and tube - with his dice still sealed inside. An hour or two later, Steve asked me if I had his dice. Luckily he did because I might not have figured it out the following morning.

However given that Bill won't use a dice tube, I doubt this is how his dice walked away.

On multiple occasions I've had people I don't know simply walk over to my open board and play a match on it. I can see someone needing dice to play with and borrowing some from a nearby board. While people should know better, I can certainly see the possibility that someone might have taken the dice without the intent of theft. If indeed there was a calculating thief present, then it is most unfortunate and Bill's use of the word "scum" is well placed.

Bill, did you by any chance report your dice missing to the tournament staff? Perhaps someone turned them in.
