we must enter from the bar first --- entering on the 2 would be nice in order to increase contact, but the stripped nature of our middle points ( 8 & 13 ) make recirculation much more necessary --- so 25/21 is indicated. for the 2nd part of the roll, moving the middle checkers means leaving very damaging dircet shots. i'd sooner play 3/1*. so the candidates are 6/4 or 4/2. the checkers stacked on the 4 is safer, but yuck! 4/2 for me.
