I think I was unduly influenced by recently reading http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=68363 where Nack favoured opening 43U at GS. This was news to me, although I do play 43U at DMP. For 21S-54S-42 I agree that the extra vulnerability makes 24/20 23/21 worse than 24/20 13/11.

Stick, nactating S = 24/20 13/11 looks good to me. It's obviously not 13/9 24/22 or 13/9 23/21 (Z and z?). I just didn't think of it because I was looking at 13/11 as a point-making play. Put it down to inexperience.
