Usually its right to attack a single checker so then 7/1*(2) 8/2(2). That gives up the bar, and leaves 2 checkers still back. There is also 21/3 9/3 maybe thats best, it keeps the bar, escapes a checker, leaves no additional blots, and builds a decent point.
