Hello Lucas,

I want to welcome you to the world of bgonline posting. This environment can be very rewarding, but it can also be very frustrating at times.

We all make huge errors in evaluating backgammon positions. This gives us an opportunity to learn.

You have mentioned three plays thus far, but you have not yet found the best play. Please take another look.

No shame in getting this one wrong. Paul Magriel got this one wrong when I showed it to him in 1981.
