Ok, I just realized that some people may not actually know how to reset the delay on a standard clock without the magic reset button.

When the cube has been passed, or the last checker borne off, instead of just pausing the clock, the clock should first be hit to start the opponent's clock (giving a new, full delay) and then immediately paused. If the clock had been paused first without doing this, just restart it, hit it and immediately repause it.
