I agree with Rich Munitz, that the word Limited means something, yes?
If the would-be player in question was trying to enter the master's jackpot or open jackpot or whatever one is calling it because he thought that was the appropriate place for him to play, then the answer is simple. No, you can't play in the Limited.
On the other hand, if the director can be persuaded that the player in question was trying to enter the top section because he "wanted to play opponents above his level", then this is a different case and he should be allowed to play in the Limited. The key phrase is persuaded. If the director has any doubt at all, then surely he should consult with others regarding the player's true strength before allowing him to play.
Yes you want more money from the entry fees. However, even if the director doesn't care about "doing the right thing" [shudders], if the word Limited becomes a meaningless term, you may well find yourself with even more slots to fill in the Limited section next year....
