I agree, there is some room for improvement in this area. In my opinion, second buy-backs should not be allowed, period, and a buyback opportunity should be guaranteed to any first round loser prior to a published cut-off time, and such player must be willing to play through the dinner break if necessary. I think the right to a buy-back trumps the desire for pretty numbers. The only exception should be in a case where there are an odd number of buy-backs by the deadline. In that case, the director should establish the status of unfinished matches and whether any of those players would like to buy back. He then needs to make a call on whether to extend the deadline waiting for one more buy-back or deny the last buy-back. A clock should be required for any match starting after the deadline.
