The ace must be 6/5*. Maybe hitting twice is right here, but I'd anchor up with 24/20. "When defending, make defensive plays." While it's true that we have more checkers back, a race deficit, and are trailing in the match, we are also outboarded with no structure to speak of. We're not likely to win a blot-hitting contest at this stage. I prefer to grab the golden anchor as insurance against getting blown off the board immediately.
