I play 24/20 6/5* securing the anchor. The attack isn't too likely to succeed all the way, and having the security seems necessary.

Hitting two would give no indirects at our slot, but that's only 4 numbers. A more important advantage to hitting 2 is that black's plays are restricted - esp as he may roll a 6 and not get both in. However, once he is in he has more flexibility if I have other blots around - as he can play hitting plays from his stripped points. If I make the anchor he may find that it is hard to dismantle his points safely - and at that time I may actually have something that looks like a board.
