Backgammon Books - Promoting Backgammon

In Response To: Backgammon Books - Promoting Backgammon (Michael Petch)

I think if people would spend more money buying books, there would be more books published. That would help promote the game.

It is odd that Backgammon players insist on getting things for free. Their weakness is costing them money in chouettes and tournaments. In the end, players don't have to spend if they don't want to spend. And authors don't have to publish if it isn't worth their time.
