Keep Socialism Out of Backgammon

BTW, I should point out that the people I spoke of are willing to learn by themselves using free material. That doesn't make them lazy (in my thinking), and it doesn't mean they aren't willing to put time into learning. We are talking about making the knowledge freely available to the masses, and giving it to those that are interested in learning who may have not done so if the price wasn't right.
Unless you are telling me that the person who spends $40 dollars on a Backgammon Book is not lazy, and the one looking to find the information freely available IS lazy? Is the person who goes looking for the BG book at the public library also lazy because they are promoting an institution (library) that is socialist in nature? Is a person who uses GnuBG lazy and a person who pays $50 for XG is not? Is a person who reads rec.games.backgammon lazy, and a person who subscribes to the GammonU site and its forum not lazy? Is the person who spends $100/hour to get lessons not lazy, while the person who studies the game with free material and achieves the same level of proficiency is lazy?
