I am not surprised to see a +1 coming from Miran. I canīt wait to see one of his wonderful well-attended and amply advertized tournaments taking place with added money, no rake, pro staff, equipment provided, live coverage, internet broadcast and all the rest, yet profitable.

Even I know that's impossible ;)

But, as you said: I do what I can whenever and wherever itīs possible to provide that service too - I will also work hard for the tournament that I organize. It won't have everything that you mentioned, but we will do our best so our players could go home satisfied.

But my +1 here was because recently Croatian player played in Cyprus and I know that we all wanted to know how is he doing in the tournament. Also, I see on DailyGammon how are people interested when "one of us" plays at some tournament and they cheer for him/her and they want to see updates.
So I think that Michael's idea to post updates of lower division (whenever is that possible, of course) is good way to promote backgammon and live tournaments among non-WC players.
