At every tournament I've ever attended there are paper drawsheets on the wall with staff members (yep -- those already busy people) having to hand write results. Before the start these cumbersome sheets have to be filled in by hand (by -- you guessed it). I'd say 25% of the sheets have sticky labels posted over misktakes. Staff deal worn out ("marked") playing cards to determine the random pairings.

Come to Vegas. Draws powered by random.org. And CJC's staff in Novi hasn't used playing cards or handwritten an initial draw in many years.
