Hi Paul:

75 in the ABT event: 32-24-19. 16 in each of the jackpot events.

One player, who I won't name, had a large tantrum about having to wait around. This was a player that has played in the open flight on many occasions but wanted to play advanced here. The advanced flight was not clocked, and bogged down somewhat due to one or two really slow players. We used clocks in a couple advanced matches to catch things up but some players had three- or four-hour waits (six hours including the dinner break--not as bad as several that I have experienced over the years). Still and all, nobody had to start a match past midnight and very few players had to go past 11:00.

Just two rulings on condoned illegal plays, both routine. One of them involved Neil Kaz, who just wanted to make sure we were not using legal moves. The other involved an advanced player who got a bit upset but cooled down quickly.
