I don't think we have enough ammo to continue the blitz. It isn't likely to work, and we will probably end up having a lousy backward position as well. With white on bar, this is our chance to put our back checkers in good places.

And reviving the blitz next turn is not out of the question - given some luck. In fact 24/18 might even be the play that makes the blitz more likely to succeed as well, giving added possibilities of picking up the outfield blot.
