I once came upon a dropped or discarded West Point Etiquette Manual and thus learned how out of my depth I would have been at their formal events. On the critical matter of forks, I think you start with the inside fork and proceed outwards as new courses arrive. If that's wrong, O.K. I'm off the B-list.
