I'll bet that hitting with 42 is a bigger error in the lower left-hand position than in the upper left-hand position, and that hitting with 42 is a bigger error in the lower right-hand position than in the upper right-hand position.

According to XGR+ you're correct on the left hand positions with the plays being tied in the upper example and hitting a .029 error in the lower example. As for the right hand positions XGR+ doesn't agree. The upper position XGR+ has hitting wrong by .057 and the lower position wrong by .042.
