In Response To: Bring Back the Holland Rule (Phil Simborg)

Sly and I got this silly rule killed many years ago for several reasons.

1) It greatly confuses new players, and I witnessed a few of them simply shaking their heads at a club where this rule was played and walking away. Trust me that it is hard enough to explain Crawford to them.

2) People sometimes misscounted the number of rolls (believe it or not) and the director was summoned and arguments happened.

3) Holland was in use at one T or club but not another and people forgot and again arguments happened etc.

4) A somewhat altered MET was needed. Sly and I both felt that it ias fair that the ME be 75% for the leader at -1-3C etc.

NO HOLLAND RULE PLEASE .. nothing is wrong with the current worldwide accepted Crawford Rule
