White's weak board and three(!) homeboard blots make me look for blotty plays. Hitting on the 9 is certainly blotty - it leaves 6 count'em 6 blots.

Is this sound? We've got the better board - not only more points, but better ones at that. Plus he's killed almost half his army on the three low homeboard points.

So I hit here. (Now off to see what others have written)
