Two variants

In Response To: How to play 62 in the middle game (Mochy)

Can't say I understand this position yet, but here are two variants that may help shed some light. Note that I've switched to a money game; I don't think that the checker play in all these positions is affected drastically by the 3a5a score.

In Variant 1, GNU 2-ply wants to keep the anchor and move from the midpoint, whereas in Variant 2, GNU 2-ply wants to break anchor.
