13/9 8/6. I start with 8/6, taking away the 6 shot, creating a direct cover for the ace, and creating a valuable spare. Than for the 4, three choices: 6/2* (so 8/2* in total), 13/9 and 24/20. 8/2* is not unreasonable, and would be my GG play, but seems to give up too many wins here. 13/9 8/6 creates another builder and attacker, reduces the stack on the mid, and is my choice at the score. It jacks up gammons on both sides, and XG will be hampered on its recubes (not getting full value from gammons). 20 and 6 would be my choice at more normal scores and when ahead in the match, it will win the most and loses least gammons. It takes advantage of the lead in the race and activates the back checkers when opponent is on the bar.
