In Response To: The Backgammon Club of the Future--I have a different dream (David Rockwell)

I find the idea of mandating what any players do with their time to be offensive in the extreme.

You really think that asking a tournament winner to help out some beginners to be extremely offensive? It's one thing to think it's not a worthwhile idea, but to be so offended is remarkable. If you are so offended, so be it... I'm just really surprised.
