How would you play this?

I think this is a difficult problem. Behind in the race by a lot, and with an advanced anchor, and playing with three back against one, you'd like to avoid that Black just runs past you. I'd start with 8/3* for sure, to avoid black last checker escaping. The 2 is the problem.
24/22 looks natural, but gives up a lot of control over the inner board, creating dump space for Black. I don't like that play much.
13/11 adds a builder, but gives up the midpoint, which could be costly if we have some more checkers send back. This last effect is partly mitigated by the advanced anchor. I think I sooner play 13/11 than 24/22 here.
Third possibility is 10/8, but that gives up the 10 point for little gain. Scratch that. 3/1 is the lowest risk 2, leaving the least shots, and that play also means that a hitting ace will leave Black badly positioned for the escape home. But it does little constructive for building the position.
The play I like best on a sunny Sunday morning is 8/3* 6/4. This will make the most gains when it works, and when it does not work, we will have a strong defense with all checkers in play and working towards building a strong forward position.
3* and 4 first choice, 3* and 11 second choice, 3* and 22 third choice, 3* and 1 fourth choice, 3* and 8 fifth choice for me.
