O.K., that's more like what I saw with XGR+.

I think if you change the roll to 32 then hitting comes out on top; part of the reason is that it doesn't leave a second blot.

In my variant, the safe plays are quite ugly and I believe hitting comes out on top despite leaving a second blot.
