The white avalanche is moving ahead and gaining momentum. With each new roll the loop around the shit-anchor will be tightened. This beautiful anchor is probably going to get loat in the white checker forest. It will be difficult to lift anchor then. The problem with the 3pt anchor is that it is very difficult to get a good timing - for race or for a holding game. When you have the doubles they will probably be blocked. White, most of the time, has a most efficient double. Right now black is behind in the race, but has a better development - high point and a white blot on the graveyard. If Black stays on the 16 he invites a blot hitting contest on the enemy soil, delays white's point making, threatens to cover the 16 with a 6 in order to fight with 15 checkers against the white stragglers. Although MCG Stick and falafel are very short, I like their answers best. I think both Danny Kleinman and Kit woolsey covered similar positions.
