Late Game 2-1

White is holding a 4-cube at 4-away. Gammons are useless and white has a tremendous lead in the race (pipcount shows 15, but it's effectively more than that since black has so many men to bring home before beginning the bearoff.) Why give black a chance to turn the game around by hitting him?
At other match scores I'd look carefully at hitting and going for the gammon, but here it just makes no sense.
Then, once you've decided to play safe, how exactly you shuffle your checkers in your homeboard won't make a big difference in equity. Go for efficiency in the bearoff - make the three and then play off the 5 or the 6 with the one.
