After escaping both back checkers, it is usually better to slot the bar point than the 5pt despite the 2 extra immediate shots, and even in the face of a less balanced distribution, because so many more numbers play safely on the following roll. In a quick look through the numbers, that appears to be the case here.

I vaguely recall that a similar post-escape 7pt-vs-5pt-slot problem was presented here a few months ago (there was a 6 involved, perhaps a roll of 62?). If anyone can find it, Tim or Petter can.
