13/8 and find an ace. The next turns, you want to play from the midpoint. As it stands after 13/8, any 6 if not accompanied with a suitable number will leave a direct shot. This is not true for other numbers. If you play the ace 8/7, 6s play safe. This points towards 13/7.

Checking direct slot leaving numbers to confirm this intuition: After 13/8 6/5: 61 42 63 64 55 65 66 = 12 numbers; After 13/7: 52 53 44 = 5 numbers. The intuition works
