Captions

I'm in basic agreement with Daniel's improvements to the suggestions in my post.
Considering the further refinements that Daniel and ah_clem were discussing, I vote for captions that look something like this:
y Beatworlder trails 0-1 to 2, Crawf.
x Worldbeater leads 1-0 to 2, Crawf... To play 21Or, if the question is cube action, then...
y Beatworlder trails 2-3 to 7. Cube?
x Worldbeater leads 3-2 to 7. Take?I believe that provides ample clarity (even with names as long as Worldbeater) without crowding the pipcount, which I would prefer to see on the same line. The dice and cube designations are arguably redundant, but they recap a lot of useful information with the expenditure of only a few characters, including the clarification of who is on roll.
Replace my "x" and "y" with white and black checker icons, of course. "Crawf" might be further abbreviated to "Crwf" or "Crf" or "Cr" (or "Cf"). "To play 21" might be replaced by "Dice: 21," and "Cube" might be replaced by "Double" (or "Redouble").
I also hope it will be possible to type over the captions manually. For most bgonline posts, I will want to use ONE simple caption (top or bottom, depending on the player on roll); for example:
White to play 21 at gammon save
...or
Black on roll at 𤃂. Cube action?
