One fun thing to do, and it can be quite challenging, is to attempt to reconstruct the entire course of a baseball game from a comprehensive box score.

Try it some time. I've done it a few time with varying degrees of success.

Some are quite accomplished at it.

I have the advantage of having been the official scorekeeper, for a number of years of my youth, of my dad's semi-professional baseball team.
