In Response To: One checker behind a 5 prime once again :( (neilkaz)

This type of situation with the 5 prime extended this far in and with little blocking counterplay is often a pass since it is too hard to win.

However, here I (Black) have some small things in my favor. White's spare is somewhat inflexible on the 4 pt and his mid pt is blotted so there are some rolls that leave me a shot.

I figure to have a few rolls to get a 17-1 leaper to be in great shape and if I hit White when he tries to attack, my forward position could be a nuisance to him if he doesn't get quickly to my 5 pt.

All things considered, I couldn't pass this.
